HIGHLIGHT OF REV. DR. OLAWUYI JAMES’ VISIT TO KADUNA BAPTIST YOUTH CONFERENCE

It was a privilege to receive our esteemed leader and mentor, Rev. Dr. Olawuyi James, Director of Youth and Students Ministry, Nigerian Baptist Convention, at the Global Mission Board meeting at Albarka Fellowship Baptist Church, Kaduna. On behalf of the Kaduna Baptist Youth Conference, I am pleased to share the highlights of his visit.

Rev. Dr. Olawuyi James visited our conference secretariat, where we conducted a tour of our facilities, including the conference cooperative office, MMU office, prayer garden, BSF office, and Conference Youth office. He was accompanied by Rev. Ijasini Jamare Jantiku, Rev. and Mrs. Alhamdu A. Tukurah, KBYC Advisory Board Chairman, Rev. Anzaku B. Mallam, BSF Coordinator, Bro. Simon Duchi, KBYC Music Director, and myself.

During his address, Rev. Dr. Olawuyi James commended the Kaduna Baptist Youth Conference for our progress, mobilization efforts, and support for the Nigerian Baptist Convention Youth Conference. He encouraged us to continue doing well and expressed appreciation for the leadership and members’ dedication. Additionally, he urged us to plan and mobilize effectively for the upcoming NBCYC annual session in Jos, Plateau State.

Prior to his departure, Rev. Dr. Olawuyi James offered prayers for God’s blessings upon the conference and its members.
