MISSION STATEMENT
Nigerian Baptist Convention Youth Conference (NBCYC) exists as a community of believers that represents Christ, by proclaiming the Gospel, making disciples of believers, caring for people and growing churches through worship, mission, education, and recreation and collaborating with other Christian agencies of like-minds across the globe.

CORE VALUES
Worship:
We commit ourselves to worshipping God through Jesus Christ, our Saviour and Lord, as expressed in relevant biblical teachings, proclaiming the Gospel for life’s transformation, continual prayer and expression of reverence and adoration to God.

Fellowship:
As Christian youths, our gathering affords us opportunity to relate together in fellowship, for the purpose of strengthening one another in faith, in love, offering necessary support and encouragement as co-pilgrims to eternity with Jesus Christ, our Lord.

Mission Outreach:
As believers in the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus, we commit ourselves to the proclamation of the Gospel by bringing unbelievers to personal faith in Jesus Christ and reaching out in missions to places that need the Gospel more desperately than where we are currently located.

Leadership Development:
As people of faith and vision, we recognise the need for quality leadership for the Church and nation. We are, therefore, committed to helping and providing the platform through which Baptist youth can discover, develop and deploy their spiritual gifts, with confidence that they might use them as emerging leaders in building up the Body of Christ and the society.

Career Development:
As a community of young people with passion for fruitfulness and productivity, we are committed to helping one another to attain purposeful living, by providing platform for our members to develop their chosen careers and academic pursuit to the level of self-sustainability and usefulness to the Church and society.

Recreation:
As Baptist youth with different skills, we commit ourselves to demonstrate our passion by being involved in recreation and sporting activities, for the purpose of glorifying God and bringing others to the knowledge of Jesus Christ, with the goal of populating His Church.
